JOLLY MOLLY the Clown birthday parties are FUN for all ages! Everything possible is done to ensure the emotional and physical safety of the children and to structure activities for their age group.
JOLLY MOLLY the Clown's usual performance includes balloon animals, hats and flowers for all the children (and adults if they want them), fun magic tricks, songs and circle games with guitar and rhythm band, clown gags, pocket puppets, and adorable face painting. JOLLY MOLLY is happy to perform at schools, day cares, or public places, and if you want help with anything special like piñatas, games, awards, etc. just ask. JOLLY MOLLY's goal is to help create a happy, safe, and successful event.
JOLLY MOLLY the Clown is best known for excellent face painting, her “Jolly Molly laugh”, and the delightful character she has developed over the years. It's fun to select a design from the many "full face" options, or to have a small decoration or tattoo. Please refer to the page on this site entitled "Face Painting". The key to having fun with JOLLY MOLLY the Clown is to let the party unfold. Occasionally there will be a child who wants all the attention, and it may not be the birthday kid. If that happens, a gentle reminder from an adult should be enough to keep him/her in check. Remember, JOLLY MOLLY the Clown is a performer, not an authority figure or a baby sitter.
Remember to book early. Summer dates book as far as a year in advance.

Jolly Molly the Clown - Rates
Jolly Molly the Clown has kept her rates reasonable over the years. Jolly Molly the Clown believes that if someone wants to hire a clown, they should be able to do it without breaking the bank.
Jolly Molly the Clown says, "Of course I am worth a lot more. I just don't charge more."
The rates quoted below cover everything: a helium balloon and gift for the birthday child, travel to and from the party ("unless you live on the moon, in which case I might have to charge for mileage"), office expense, clown costume expense and clown supplies including balloons and makeup.
ONE CLOWN HOUR (actually about an hour and 15 minutes) $145.00
TWO full hours $200.00
Somewhere in between - a tip is nice and appreciated.
FULL DAY (up to 5 hours) on weekends in the summer: $450
Jolly Molly the Clown will provide an agreement.
Non-profits and day care or senior centers - 10% discount.
Ongoing job - negotiable.
Jolly Molly the Clown will provide an agreement.
10% of all tips go to UNICEF.
Missed shows policy
Jolly Molly the Clown will call about a week ahead and on the night before the party to reconfirm. She usually also calls the day of the party to let you know she is on the way. She always explains that if you don't hear from her, there is something wrong, and you should call and LEAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER. Still, sometimes Life takes us in a direction we didn't plan. If stuff happens, Jolly Molly the Clown will make every effort to find a suitable replacement, or if you are left without a clown due to no fault of you own (like you called and left your number as instructed), she will offer to do a free show at another time.
